concerning hobbits and sean

Listening to the soundtrack from Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It wells me up everytime. It's not so much comfort music, but rather assurance that my life will be ok. I'm just having one of those days. They seem to be hitting me more often than usual.

But, I am alive and breathing, so I dare not complain. Someone will always have it worse than I do.

Those of you who read this, I'm in need of encouragement. Please give suggestions about things I could do to break out of this routine life I'm wallowing in.

  1. Make meaningful friends who live somewhere within reasonable driving distance.

Plus, go out of your way to reconnect with "old" friends.

Besides the obvious time spent with God, we all need encouragement from other people... so get out there!

    It's helping me, at least.

um, well maybe you could go for a walk, or a run. I go for runs.. it always makes me feel energized.
Or, you could join a community group.
Apartments have that affect on you, where you sit inside all the time under mounds of homework and everyday seems like the last.
Take Ruth out for dinner, or go to
'every third thursday' at the library.. it's free :D
The list goes on.. be creative :P
